Nasua narica

It has an oxidated brown color, with large tail and long nose. Small ears.

The tail has around 10 rings, dark and light alternate.

The front legs have powerful and elongated claws.

Procyon lotor mexicanus

It has a distinguishing mask and ringed tail with some 5 or 6 bands.

The color generally is grisaceous, with a dark mask in the face.

The head is wide, with a pointed nose.

With a wide and low body, short legs with elongated fingers in the front legs, and shorter fingers in the rear legs.

Bassariscus astutus

It's a small animal, with large eyes and ringed tail with around 7 thick black rings alternate with white bands, and black tip.

The long tail is it's main characteristic, as it is as long as the body and head together.

The body is grayish brown, while the face has a darker band in the cheeks and over the eyes.
