Canis latrans

Medium sized, with prominent ears and very narrow nose. It has a slender, brown colored body.

Reproduces at the start of Spring, wity 4 to 8 cubs.

The latin name of this animal, canis latrans, means howling dog. It is because they howl at the moon, as well as when it perceives that it will dawn soon

Urocyon cinereoagtenteus

Small sized mammal. It is recognized by the gray color above with orange or red sides.

Some times it is confused with the red fox, although the main difference lies in the size of the ears.

It is active during the night. When it is surprised and lighted by a lamp, their immediate noticeable characteristic is the yellow greenish glow of their eyes.

Vulpes macrotis

A small fox distinguished by the great size of their ears.

Although mainly a nocturnal animal, some times they can be found while walking in the countryside. When it runs away, it will keep on turning back to see what happens.
