Accipiter cooperii
With a body measuring between 12 to 18 inches, it has a rounded tail. The male is bluish above, and ferruginous and stripped abdomen. C
Females are larger, and bluish brown above.
The voice is a fast series of: "kik, kik, kik"
It hunts flying low among the trees, traveling short distances each time, using the terrain to hide.
