| Mountain lion or puma Felis concolor It is a large, brown or gray colored feline, with lighter belly. It has small ears, a white patch in the mouth. It's distinctive mark is the long tail. Their favorite hunt is the deer, and they can cover more than 60 miles in a day looking for their hunt.

Bobcat Felis rufus It has a small size, although larger than a cat, and a short tail. They have prominent ears, with small patches of black hairs at the tips. Their back hairs are frequently grayish brown, and frequently have dark spots, while their bellies are lighter. The tip of their tails have a black spot in the upper part. Mainly a nocturnal animal, although if it is hungry it can go out to hunt by day. Their voice is catlike, although much louder. |
