
Law that establishes the Municipality of Nogales

CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF SONORA
TO IT´S INHABITANTS, LET IT BE KNOWN:
That the State Congress has decreed the following:
Number 29
The Congress of the State, in the name of the society, decrees the following:
Law erectig Nogales into a Municipality
ARTICLE 1.- It is erected into a municipality the population of Nogales, located in the Magdalena District, with the following limits: North: the dividing line with the United States. South, half the distance between Agua Zarca and Cibuta. East, the limits of the municipality of Santa Cruz, and will be located within Nogales the populations of Buenavista and Santa Barbara. West, the dividing line with the Altar District, being within the limits of the new municipality the mines of Planchas de Plata, Pajarito, Promontorio, Plomosa and Durazno.
ARTICLE 2.- The State Executive is given permission to arrange with the owners of the land within which is located the population of Nogales, to acquire lots and every necessary advantage to facilitate the progress of the mentioned municipality.
This should be communicated to the Executive, for his signature and comments.
